Ten seeds of the blue Nymphaea known as the Egyptian Blue Lotus.
These fresh, tiny seeds grow into the most magical white with blushing blue blooms*. This gorgeous aquatic plant can be grown in a pond, half a wine barrel or other water holding vessel. The plant goes dormant over winter and the first leaves appear in spring, when the water has warmed up. It flowers all summer long.
The flowers can be dried whole or as loose petals and stamens. We use our glass tea set to make an absolutely stunning tea, of which we get feedback that ‘it makes you happy’. The flowers are known to be used in many other different applications.
Growing notes The seeds come with clear growing instructions. The plants are happiest in the warmest, most wind-sheltered spot on your deck or in your garden.
