All the beautiful wooden details throughout the space, repurposed century-old rimu (a native tree), give the cabin a charming, rustic feel.

When it’s time for sleep, close the blackout curtains, curl up into your orthopaedic, super king bed and wrap yourself in Egyptian cotton bedding. The flat-screen TV conveniently rotates to wherever you’re sitting. The en-suite bathroom with rain shower has fluffy towels, bathrobes, and amenities for your comfort. Both the cabin and the separate full kitchen have a fridge for your convenience.

The view from your private deck won’t disappoint; on a clear day at dusk, Mount Karioi is framed by pink, orange and red, and a clear night shows spectacular stargazing. Add in the birdsong and cascading views of the flower farm, and you’ll have a pinch-yourself moment as you look out at your snapshot of colour. There are books, magazines and boardgames for entertainment. Enjoy the charm of the countryside and the magic of flowers.
